This week’s episode of “The Vampire Diaries” shows Damon who is all set to exterminate another Heretics member Oscar, after murdering Malcolm. This dangerous drive taken by Damon infuriates Lily.
You will not lay hand on another member of my family,” Lily said to Damon, who is shown taking an attempt of doing that in the promo, as reported by Christian Today.
Damon seems to have taken a pledge to wipe out every member of Heretics to get the coffin of Elena that is secretly kept by Lily, which is hinted by a teaser clip of “The Vampire Diaries” season 7 release. Oppositely, Damon tried to establish that he did not concern himself with the phoenix stone that Bonnie was determined to destroy it.
According to Design & Trend, the season 7 of “The Vampire Diaries” recently introduced two new female characters – Mary and Nora – who would be the parts of Lily’s Heretics. Teressa Liane and Scarlett Byrne will be seen playing the role of Mary and Nora respectively. The fans were thrilled to learn that these two characters would be playing the roles of lesbians and lovers for each other.
Byrne said to MTV News during her exclusive interview that she was initially approached for the role of Nora in “The Vampire Diaries” season 7, but she was far away from the idea of growing a romantic relationship onscreen with Liane’s character, Mary. She even revealed that the introduction of lesbianism in the show was later developed by the showrunners but she did welcome this addition with full heart.
“It’s been really cool to see our relationship as a couple develop. We guess when the new episodes are coming what’s going to happen, and we’re always completely wrong. But initially in the beginning, all we knew was they were a couple, and some very basic information,” Byrne added.
Don’t miss tomorrow’s (Thursday) episode of “The Vampire Diaries” season 7 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
