Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron To Star In ‘High School Musical 4’ As Kenny Ortega Hints It?
Musical director Kenny Ortega has posted a photo that seemed to hint of a “High School Musical 4.” Is Disney planning to release a sequel? Will Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens star in it? Read on for more details.
It has been seven years already since the release of “High School Musical 3” and it seemed Ortega is keen of releasing another sequel.
In his official Instagram account, Ortega posted a throwback photo of Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, and the rest of the cast outside the East High School. The director was nostalgic about the franchise in his post as well as seemingly missing his time with the cast.
“There was an abunDANCE of heart ever present in the making of #HSM 1,2 & 3 It makes it so much more fun to work everyday and impacts the outcome![sic],” Ortega, 65, said.
With this, Unreality TV believed Ortega’s post looked like a hint of a possible “High School Musical 4.”
In another Instagram post just a week ago, Ortega uploaded a picture of the cast holding their Emmy awards and, yes, it had Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens in it. While celebrating the 10th year anniversary since the release of the first “High School Musical” film, the director said, “Thank you for our #HSM Cast, Crew and the most Loyal Fans ever! #we’reallinthistogether #HSM Forever…”
Ashley Tisdale also posted in her Instragam account previously, via Unreality TV, in which it showed Kenny Ortega, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman, and Olesya Rulin in it. Somewhat a cryptic message, Tisdale stated she was “supporting the guy” who changed their lives.
Does this “supporting the guy” mean anything? Although not yet confirmed, but who knows the folks over Disney were planning of a “High School Musical 4.”
And if the sequel is confirmed, will Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens be around? Are they still going to be couples in the film?
Since Disney is yet to issue an official statement, readers should take this with a grain of salt.
