VH1’s ‘Hindsight’: Details and Trailer [WATCH VIDEO]
In the history of modern television, there have been various shows which dealt heavily in reliving past eras, which delighted those who lived through it and educated those who have only heard about it. There was “That 70’s Show,” which relived the ’70s in a fun way, and more recently, viewers are able to relive the ’80s by watching ABC’s “The Goldbergs.” This time around, it’s time for the ’90s to shine once again as VH1’s latest scripted comedy, “Hindsight,” which will premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at 10:00 p.m., brings us back to the era of choker necklaces, crop tops and the Spice Girls, using an old, but fond formula — a wish that ends up in time travel. Read on to learn more about “Hindsight.”
“Hindsight” tells the story of Becca (Laura Ramsey), who is about to marry her second husband. Everything in her life is going great, except for the fact that she and her best friend Lolly (Sarah Goldberg) have not talked to each other in years. She then wishes that she could go back in time to redo things and ends up waking up in 1995, on the morning of her first marriage.
In the trailer, it is shown that Becca had called up Lolly on the evening of her second marriage and wished to herself that she could go back and start over. After collapsing in an elevator, she woke up to find herself in 1995. She then was reunited with Lolly, and she tries to explain to her that she had come from the future. She then tries to redo things, with the knowledge of what had already happened in the future, such as never marrying her first husband, spending more time with Lolly, and reliving the ’90s with choker necklaces and VHS tapes all over again, as she sees it as a second chance in life. Becca then poses this question to the viewers: What would you do if you had the chance to redo things?
And that was all on the upcoming show, “Hindsight.” For more news and updates on “Hindsight” and other television shows, keep following Movie News Guide (MNG).
