Vikings Season 5 updates mostly might revolve around Ragnar and his brother Rollo. Ragnar played by Travis Fimmel posted a few updates on social media talking about his excitement for the second part of Season 4. Rollo played by Clive Standen also posted an intriguing update too.

Clive Standen posted a picture of the famous phrase “Keep Calm and…” Well the sentence was left incomplete as it was splattered with blood. Well, true Vikings Style! The caption read: “Just over a month until #Vikings season 4B hits your screens on @history what are your predictions for #Rollo in the second half of the season?”

Both Ragnar and Rollo could probably not be seen in the upcoming episodes. Travis and Clive have been MIA from Season 5 shooting. Clive Standen is currently shooting for Taken for NBC, reports The Stopru. Speculations suggest that character Rollo will succumb in Vikings Season 5.

Other developments expected to be seen in the show is Ragnar returning to Kattegat after missing for a long time. His character will be seen returning as a defeated man who will have to face the animosity of his own people. He will have to face the wrath of grown up sons and tribesmen.

Vikings Season 4 Part 2 was shot in Ireland and it revolves around the conquest of France and England by the Vikings. The focus will be on Ragnar- on his journey from a farmer to a warrior-raider. Ragnar’s ex-wife Lagertha and brother Rollo were also responsible for his ascent to power.

Vikings Season 5 will have 20 episodes but no official release date has been announced yet.
