‘The Walking Dead’ Star Alanna Masterson Gave Birth to a Baby Girl
It’s a girl for Alanna Masterson! Read on for more details.
27-year-old “The Walking Dead” star Alanna Masterson is now a mom! Masterson, who plays the role of Tara Chambler in the said AMC drama series, gave birth to her first child with her long term boyfriend, photographer Brick Stowell, on November 5. The actress kept her pregnancy a secret and she did her best to keep her baby bump out of shot. Last week, Masterson quietly welcomed her baby girl into the world.
The couple announced the great news on Instagram. Masteron quietly hinted her little girl’s arrival by sharing a photo of her and Stowell kissing on November 12. She captioned it: “We did it.” Check out the sweet photo below.
Stowell followed up with a cute picture of his baby girl’s little foot in his palm. He posted it on November 13. Check it out below.
According to Mail Online, Masterson and Stowell, who have been together for 8 years, have named their baby girl Marlowe. What an unusual and beautiful name! Did they name their baby after the famous Elizabethan poet and playwright Christopher “Kit” Marlowe?
Baby Marlowe’s aunt, Kennedy Stowell, also paid tribute to the newest addition to their family on social media. This is what she posted online: “Every time I remember that I have a niece now it makes me cry. Wish I was home so I could give baby Marlowe a million kisses.”
Even though Masterson tried to keep her pregnancy a secret, her eagle eyed fans still noticed that her baby bump has been cleverly hidden through filming with creative placements of inanimate objects and wearing loose fit clothes.
Alanna Masterson is the younger sister of actors Will Masterson, Jordan Masterson, Christopher Masterson, and Danny Masterson. She started to appear in AMC’s “The Walking Dead” in 2013. She was promoted to a series regular for the show’s fifth season.
