There is a big possibility that Warcraft could be the first good video game adaptation.  The trailer says it all!

The movie, directed by Duncan Jones, highlighted and focused on the initial parts of the game’s tradition-humans vs. orcs.  Only, the orcs are momentary passing their dying world through a portal to the human word of Azeroth. The ever popular and long running game franchise has since progressed  and have subsequently included  numerous elven factions, undead armies, and drunken pandas — an excellent element for a  good trilogy. It can be extremely exciting to see Viking star Travis Fimmel in the lead role Lothar.
