Wedding Bells For Philip Philips As He Marries Longtime Girlfriend Hanna Blackwell

This is something about Philip Philips that would really make all of you feel happy. Wedding bells rang for this American Idol winner. Here is the complete story for you.

Philip Philips, who was the winner of season 11 of “American Idol”, got married with Hannah Blackwell, his longtime girlfriend, on Saturday evening. The news was exclusively confirmed by Philips’ representative to People Magazine.

Philips said that he was extremely excited. The star, 25, met his girlfriend at Mission Change, a charity organization run by his sister. The meeting took place about seven years ago.  The “American Idol” alum said that what he loved best about his wife is that she is his best friend and he can share anything and everything with her. He is truly in love with her.

Philips’ new bride was equally ecstatic about her husband. Hannah said that when she met Philip, she realized that he was the answer to all the questions she had in her mind. Everything makes sense to her when he is around. The newly married couple looks completely besotted by each other.

For her wedding day, Hannah Blackwell wore a gorgeous wedding gown designed by Hayley Paige while she exchanged her marriage vows with her long standing boyfriend. Philips looked dashing too as the two got married at the Resora Plantation in Georgia. About 250 friends and family members attended their wedding ceremony.

The newlyweds continued with their wedding celebration at a grand reception on Saturday night. They will be starting their honeymoon in the coming week. Philips actually  needs a break too as there was an announcement last month that his newly hired manager may be sued by “American Idol” franchisee for a whopping amount of $4 million. The couple got engaged on Christmas Eve last year.

Congratulations to Hannah and Philip for a new journey in their life.
