Weekend Movies: Handful of movies you should watch over the weekend
Now that the weekend we can all sit back and relax, and watch some of the latest and newest films out in cinemas. Now since the film industry is being bombarded with new releases, we have handpicked 3 of the best films you can watch to fill up your weekend.
Nebraska is an American drama film that stars Bruce Dern and Will Forte. The film has been directed by Alexander Payne and although presenting a black and white picture can possibly create a bit of controversy for the director, other films like, The Artist and Frances Ha seem to neutralize the matter. Apart from that, we should also focus on the brave and daring fact that Alexander Payne has chosen to cast Bruce Dern and Will Forte as the father-son duo.
In the film, Bruce Dern gives the performance of his career. Dern makes the character stand out with unique mannerisms and expressions that make wholly dimensional.
Nebraska is great film to add to your watch-list for the weekend. The movie is set for release on the 22nd of November 2013 in the United States.
Charlie Countryman opens up with an encompassing image which shows the main character (Shia LaBeouf) dangling upside down with his face bruised and battered and covered in blood. As Charlie Countryman hangs in the air upside down, the narrator who by the way is played by John Hurt, explains that the young man is about to be shot by a re-head girl and that he had to die and that he did it all for love.

Thor: The dark world:
Thor 2 kicks off from where Thor in the Avengers left off. Loki has been brought back to Asgard to pay for his evil crimes and Thor is trying to save the realms to prevent it from falling deeper into chaos.
Meanwhile as peace is restored and order is brought to the land, an old enemy of Asgard, Malekith, played by Christopher Eccleston, re- awakens and threatens to drive the nine realms into total darkness. Malekith has already attempted to this a long time before but was stopped by Thor’s grandfather. Confronted by an enemy so strong that neither Odin nor Asgard can put a halt to, Thor must stop the enemy before the entire universe is destroyed.
