One of the most anticipated new shows for this coming fall season is none other than FOX’s “Minority Report”, which is based off of the Steven Spielberg film of the same name. Spoiler TV has released FOX’s official press release about what the show is all about, and has also released several first look promotional videos. Spoiler TV has also released a short video featurette in which the actors of the show talk about what viewers and fans should expect from the series. Read on to learn more about what to expect “Minority Report”.

According to the press release of FOX which was released on Spoiler TV, “Minority Report” is the first Spielberg film to be adapted into a television series.

The series is set in Washington DC, in the year 2065, ten years after Precrime, a division which used precognitives , “precogs” , people who could see crimes before they could be committed, in order to prevent those crimes before it actually happened. However, ten years later, in a time when technology is more relied on, Dash (Stark Sands), a precog, decided to help Detective Lara Vega (Meagan Good) after he started experiencing fragmented visions of future crimes. At the same time, the two also team up in order to locate and find Dash’s missing precog twin brother, Arthur (Stark Sands). Along the way, Dash and Arthur’s foster precog sister, Agatha (Laura Regan), comes into the picture, as she tries to get her brother to go back home again. They are also helped out by police Detective Will Blake (Wilmer Valderama) and by Akeela (Li Jun Li) a CSI technician.

According to the short featurette on Spoiler TV, the show’s executive producers, director and some of the cast members talked about what one should expect from the exciting science fiction show.

According to executive producer Max Borenstein, the show is se set in 2045 Washington DC, which is now a very vibrant, futuristic city. Mark Mylod, the show’s executive producer and director explained that Dash (Stark Sands), one of the original precogs featured in the movie is very earnest, and has no social graces, which make for some light comedic scenes. Stark Sands then mentioned that his character ends up teaming up with Lara Vega (Meagan Good), a Metro PD detective as he doesn’t see enough, much to the chagrin of his foster sister, whom he reassures that he is trying to be careful not to be seen.

Meagan Good then described her character as a tough and strong woman who cares a lot about justice and serving justice to those who deserve it. Mark Mylod then went on to say that together, the duo become a “symbiotic team”, one which every bad guy should be scared of, and that the show boasts several complex characters, and reassures the audience that one doesn’t need to love science fiction in order to enjoy the show.

The promotional videos posted on Spoiler TV give fans and viewers a glimpse as to what to expect from the new show.

In it, it was shown that Dash, his twin brother Arthur, and his foster sister began to be tested when he was around nine years old. However, the precog division was abolished. However, ten years later, Dash began to see incomplete, fragmented visions of murders, and never managed to get to any of the crime scenes on time. Because of this, he stalked Detective Lara Vega (Meagan Good), and handed her a piece of paper with the apartment number of a recently murdered woman, which caused her to enlist the help of Blake and Akeela to locate Dash.

After finally meeting up with him, she realized that he was one of the two precog twins, and discovered that his twin, Arthur, saw the names of the victims, while Dash saw what would happen to them. Because of this, they went to a friend with technological expertise to help boost his visions.

A little bit farther into the video, Dash told his foster sister, Agatha, that he was trying his best to be careful, and told her that he was tired of hiding.

In the latest promotional video on Spoiler TV, Agatha wondered out loud to Dash if by meddling in the future, he would be able to fix the past. However, after seeing a vision of a murdered woman, and someone holding a gun, he told her that had the ability to save others.
