First off, for the entire precinct, the season will open with them trying to figure out who had orchestrated the bombing that happened within the precinct in the last season, and things will get a little bit more complicated after realizing that the real threat is from within their own precinct.
Andy McNally’s (Missy Peregrym) and Sam Swarek’s (Ben Bass) will take on a different turn this season, as the two will have to struggle with their own feelings as they will be trying to make their relationship work, despite the fact that Marlo Cruz (Rachael Ancheril) is currently pregnant with Sam’s baby. Missy, in the video, states that Andy will be trying her best to get Sam to talk to her, while Ben told the audience that the challenge of sticking things through together will be a major theme and obstacle for the couple .
Meanwhile, we finally get to see who Nick Collins’ (Peter Mooney) mysterious lady friend was in the season. It is revealed that Juliet Ward (Erin Karplak) is a new cop that had just been transferred to their precinct.
This season will also have Chris Diaz (Travis Milne) return drug-free, but his life won’t be that simple for long, as he begins a dangerous relationship with a woman he met during one of his Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
Meanwhile, Gail Peck’s (Charlotte Sullivan) challenger for this season is becoming a mother, as she finally managed to adopt that little girl, which was set in motion in the last season.
Her brother, in the meantime, will be reunited once more with Traci Nash (Enuka Okumba), who will find herself pursuing a serial predator during the course of the season.
It was revealed that Dov Epstein (Gregory Smith) and Chloe Price (Priscilla Faia) have officially broken up, but are still a little bit awkward with each other as the two still work within the same building.
However, there are some changes for the two, as Dov will begin to work in Intelligence with Marlo, and will be her most constant anchor all throughout her pregnancy, while returning character Duncan Moore (Matt Murray) will be seeing Chloe as more than a friend.
