‘White Collar’ Gets Final Season Premiere Date
For the past few months, there have been a lot of speculations regarding when the sixth and final season of the hit television USA Network show, “White Collar,” would premiere. Several details about what fans and viewers should expect for the season had already been released, but the premiere date of Season 6 has not been announced yet by the network. Fret no longer as we managed to score some scoop for you!
According to Deadline, the sixth and final season, which will close the books on partners FBI Agent Peter Burke (Tim De Kay) and reformed con-man Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer), will premiere on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at 9:00 p.m. The season will only have six episodes, which is comparatively short compared to the other final seasons of other hit USA Network shows such as “Psych” and “Burn Notice.” It was revealed that this was due to financial reasons and because USA Network does not have a say in this matter, as the show is actually owned by Fox TV.
The sixth season will pick up from where season 5 left off, right after Neal was abducted by a mysterious man and his cohorts, who forcefully removed his ankle bracelet and forced him into a van. However, Neal will be back in the game right away, as Matt Bomer revealed to TV Line that there will be one more big case for him, Peter, and the rest of the team to solve.
Bomer revealed that Neal, in a bid for his own freedom from the Bureau, will go undercover to infiltrate The Pink Panthers — the world’s biggest and most infamous criminal organization. He also revealed that both new and old faces will be appearing in the sixth season.
The final six episodes promise to be exciting, as both the president of USA Network, Chris McCumber, and the show’s creator, Jeff Eastin, have told TV Line that there will be many exciting twists, surprises and a shocking ending in store for fans and viewers of the show.
