Will STEVE HARVEY HOST THE ‘MISS UNIVERSE’ 2016 Pageant?
After the goof up in Miss Universe event, it kept almost everyone wondering whether Steve Harvey would be called for hosting the event in 2016 at all or not.
Many would be surprised to know that there are quite a few who still think that he can be invited to host the next years Miss Universe event as well. According to one of the producers of Miss Universes show, the veteran host is more than welcome.
On the “Jim Rome Show,” Mark Shapiro said that he would be disappointed if Steve Harvey does not come back to host the show next year. He further added, “He’s going to want a shot to redeem himself.”
The host’s taking the wrong name as the winner of Miss Universe on Sunday leading to chaos and confusion. He mistakenly crowned the runners up Miss Colombia as Miss Universe when it should have been Miss Philippines.
The fact that Miss Colombo had to be de-crowned moments after Harvey had announced her the winner, left the finalists as well as her fans and country people heartbroken.
Shapiro is of the opinion that fans and viewers should forgive Harvey who apologized soon after realizing his mistake and said that it was a case of unintentional mistake. He apologized to the contestants personally too. He not only asked for forgiveness live on air but also took to social media to apologies to millions of viewers and everyone affected by this.
Shapiro further said that the world forgives and forgets. Harvey’s intention was always good and he is also a great person. He wants people to forget Harvey’s mistake and not hold the grudge for long and let it pass.
After the fiasco that happened at Miss Universe event, Miss Columbia was extremely saddened. To unwind and spend some quite time with her own self and family, it is reported that the model has taken a break and gone to Miami for a family holiday.
The Colombian beauty shared a heart touching message on Tuesday thanking every one for the support and also stating that the incident was destined to happen to her.
