Witches of East End Season 2 Recap: Poe Way Out

Things got crazier in East End. Grandfather was back through Tommy’s body, while the sisters traveled back in time. Find out what happened in “Witches of East End” Season 2 Episode 11 “Poe Way Out.”

This episode took us back all the way to 1848, and we learned that the Beauchamps once owned a brothel in the middle of Baltimore; but Wendy, Joanna and Freya were all hiding in the barn. As the clock ticks, Wendy warned them that they only have a few hours left to retrieve whatever it is they need to kill the King.

We saw Freya in 1848 entertaining a family in their brothel, and there was Killian who agreed to let Freya read his cards. Freya read such a beautiful future for Killian, and Killian was so happy to know about this. The night ended with them getting it on between the sheets. It wasn’t really Killian, but it was Edgar Allan Poe. In short, Freya fell in love with him, and Poe used her to fuel up his creativity. There came a time that Poe was having a hard time getting creative that Freya offered to produce some spirits to inspire the artist. Instead of that happening, he got a soul who wanted to possess her.

Freya was possessed, and she started killing off people. Poe went to Wendy and admitted to her what they did. Wendy tried to save Freya and went to an alleyway, and of course, there was Freya… who killed her. Ingrid found Wendy’s body and rushed to Joanna who then concocted a potion that will get rid of the spirit who has possessed Freya. However, Freya’s body is doomed, which means that if the spirit looked inside the box with the potion in it, Freya will die and so as Ingrid.

Meanwhile, Killian was saddened due to Freya’s death, and he was left with a priest and Eva. He asked them if he could help him bring back Freya, and Eva said that there is a spell, only it could cost him his life. Killian, surprisingly, agreed. There was also the Agent who seems to be interrogating Dash regarding the deaths that have been happening at East End. As for Freddie, he kept on asking the king if he can go back in time as well to find his family, but the king did not let him. In fact, he wasn’t worried at all because he’s creating a tracking spell that can reveal to him where his daughters are.

Dash and Raven shared an intimate moment together, and after that, Raven tried to snoop around the house when she found a corpse. Dash also found her snooping around. She told Dash that she’s been snooping, and it wasn’t a good thing, which means that she deserved to be punished. She then bent over. Well, that was shocking Miss Special Agent!

Ingrid, on the other hand, was determined to stick to his grandfather’s side and go with him to Asgard. As for the king, he wanted to test Tarkoff’s value by sending him to where Joanna and the others were and stopping them. And then we saw Ingrid at Dash’s place. It turned out that she wasn’t really on her grandfather’s side and was only playing him to get the family back together. She first went to Dash. When Dash saw her, Dash immediately called his brother to tell him that Freya was still alive, but Killian ignored his call and was almost about to die.

Freya was still possessed, and Ingrid and Joanna lured her. Before Joanna opened the box, she first apologized to her daughter, and then the spirit got sucked from her body. Then we saw another Joanna who walked up to them and asked for the box. It turned out that was the thing that they needed to kill the king.
