Wiz Khalifa Brings His Son and His Mother at the Grammys

Despite a controversial breakup with his ex-wife Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa took the time to have a good night out with his son and his mother as they all attend the Grammy Awards night. People could hardly keep their eyes off the cute father and son duo.

Sometime before the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, Khalifa posted on Twitter a photo of him getting ready for the awards night, captioned with “we’re going to stunt.” His son, Sebastian, about to turn two on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, was already dressed up and waiting for his dad to finish.

As they stepped into the carpet later that night, many people gushed over Khalifa’s little boy. Among them was Kelly Clarkson, who later tweeted Khalifa with, “So @wizkhalifa your son is adorable beyond words!! I’m thinking arranged marriage with our little nugget ha!”, referring to her own daughter River Rose.

In an interview with E! News (and a microphone-turned-lollipop scene with Sebastian), Khalifa addressed as to why he brought his son along for the night,

“We’re just out here having fun. I brought my mom with me as well… You’re never gonna get these types of memories again, so I would just rather share them with him… Have him be a part of it,” Khalifa told E! News.

For this year’s Grammy Awards, Khalifa was nominated for two awards. These two awards are the Best Rap Album award for his fourth album “Blacc Hollywood” and the Best Rap Song award for his single “We Dem Boyz.” Unfortunately, he didn’t manage to get any of the two as they were won by Eminem and Kendrick Lamar respectively.

Khalifa and Rose had Sebastian while they were still engaged back in February 2013. The couple then got married months later in July. But after more than a year of marriage, Rose filed for divorce last year in September.
