Few Women Celebrities Who Got Rich From 15 Minutes Of Fame

A few minutes of fame is absolutely possible by going viral over the internet or through reality television. Unbelievably, some people have become filthy rich because of their short period of stardom. This article focuses on few women celebrities who became millionaires from their “15 minutes of fame” based on a report from My First Class Life.

Rachel Uchitel

Rachel Uchitel has become a millionaire with net worth of $10 Million through many different interesting ways. Uchitel first became popular when her photo that was taken during the attacks of 9/11 went viral. She then went as a VIP host for some nightclubs in Las Vegas and New York City.

A photo of her entering a hotel room of golfer Tiger Woods gave her a huge amount of money in exchange for her silence in 2009. Indeed, this incident led to the divorce of Woods with his wife. Once again, in 2010, a similar type of incident occurred with “Bones” actor David Boreanaz.

Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle was very lucky enough to become a “viral international sensation” in 2009. She might have never thought that her appearance on “Britain’s Got Talent” show could lead the way for becoming a millionaire of net worth $33 Million. Her first appearance on the show gave the opportunity to sing for everyone on national television for a version of “I Dreamed a Dream.” The audition video of this wonderful opportunity went viral over the internet and made her sing for concerts all over the world.

Omarosa Manigault

Omarosa Manigault achieved 15 minutes of fame when she appeared as a contestant on the first season of “The Apprentice” with Donald Trump. This fame helped her to become a millionaire by giving her further chances in other reality shows including “Celebrity Apprentice” version of “The Apprentice.”

Life  began to change for Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi,  after she appeared on the MTV’s “Jersey Shore” show. She became memorable in the show. She was one of the highest paid artists in the show and even started getting $150,000 per episode during the final season. She was lucky enough to become a millionaire of net worth $4 million.

Rebecca Black

The 17-year-old Black made a net worth of $1.2 million with an awful tune of “Friday” song that gave her 15 minutes of fame in 2011. The song went viral over the television and received greater than 200 million views on YouTube. However, her song was criticized and bullied to be the “worst one ever written.” Rolling Stone reported that Black’s internet hit song is an “unintentional parody of modern pop.”

Tila Tequila

Tila Tequila, Tila Nguyen in real life, first  started as a “model for Playboy magazine and other male focused publications.” She then became popular in the social media after her appearance on the website Myspace. Her short period fame has given her the opportunity to become a millionaire with a net worth $1.5 million through her appearance on her own reality show on MTV called “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila,” releasing few albums, writing books and acting in movies.

Monica Lewinsky

Monica Lewinsky became popular when United States President Bill Clinton admitted having an inappropriate relationship with her, while she was an intern at the White House in 1995 and 1996. Lewinsky utilized her short period fame by selling her story to an unnamed publisher for $12 million, in 2012. This fame gave her the opportunity to appear in Weight Watchers ads and work on TV. She is also writing a book, as well as involved in designing clothes.

Utilizing your short period of fame to become rich is a wise idea. However, it would be appreciated only if you use an honorable method of earning.
