Who Won The MTV Movie Awards 2015?

The winners for the 2015 MTV Movie Awards has been unveiled following the ceremony on Sunday.

The awards night was held in Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, CA on April 12. This was also the second time the awards was held in Nokia Theater where Amy Schumer hosted the event.  “The Fault In Our Stars” won the Movie of the Year Award. Seven other contenders for the award include “American Sniper”, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1”, “Gone Girl”, “Boyhood”, “Whiplash”, “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Selma”.


Meanwhile, Shailene Woodley won Best Female Performance over Jennifer Lawrence from “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1″, Emma Stone, “Birdman”, Reese Witherspoon from “Wild” and Scarlett Johansson, “Lucy”.

Bradley Cooper took home the MTV Movie Awards 2015 popcorn for Best Male Performance for his role in “American Sniper”. He beat other nominees including Chris Pratt from “Guardians of the Galaxy”, Miles Teller, “Whiplash”, Ansel Elgort from “The Fault In Our Stars” and Channing Tatum, “Foxcatcher”.The Breakthrough Performance was awarded to Dylan O’Brien for his role in “The Maze Runner” among other stars including Ansel Elgort from “The Fault In Our Stars”, David Oyelowo, “Selma”, Ellar Coltrane from “Boyhood” and Rosamund Pike of “Gone Girl”.

The award for Best Shirtless Performance was received by Zack Effron for his performance in “Neighbors” beating 4 other actors. Meanwhile, Zac Efron & Dave Franco got the Best Duo Award for their performance in the same movie.

The Best Kiss Award was given to Ansel Elgort & Shailene Woodley for “The Fault In Our Stars” while the Best Villain award was given to Meryl Streep for “Into the Woods”. For the Best Comedic Performance, Channing Tatum brought home the popcorn for  “22 Jump Street” while Elizabeth Banks won Best On-Screen Transformation for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1″.
