‘Wonder Woman’ and ‘Justice League’ Movie Filming Dates, Premiere, Release Date, Confirmed!
First “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” then “Suicide Squad”, two of the upcoming movies from the DC Cinematic Universe will be showcasing the best ever superhero showdown and an unlikely team serving justice respectively. As the two movies continue to garner heat around them, DCCU’s other two ventures “Wonder Woman” and “Justice League” have more updates about them revealed.
According to Comic Book, latest issue of Empire magazine has a cover story on “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” that covers all the upcoming DC Cinematic Universe’s films. Updates about films that are currently planned under the DC’s slate will surely get fans excited about it. Although highlight of the cover story were “Wonder Woman” and “Justice League.” It was recently revealed that “Wonder Woman” will see Chris Pine joining the film as Steve Trevor, a US Intelligence officer and Wonder Woman’s love interest when the actor decided to take up the role instead of Green Lantern as it was rumored. According to the cover story, “Wonder Woman” will be shot in London and preparations to shoot the film are in full swing. The shoot will begin this fall in the British capital and will be helmed by Patty Jenkins, known for directing “Monsters”. DC Cinematic Universe’s other ambitious venture “Justice League” will begin production next year in spring. According to the report, soft preparations on the movie has already begun. It would be interesting to see the seven unite against a formidable enemy. “Wonder Woman” will hit theaters on June 23rd 2017 while “Justice League” will follow a couple of months later on November 12th. Second part of the movie will release in 2019.
Fans surely must be excited for the movie, but they won’t have to wait for long as “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is going to release in March next year and is getting its coat of special effects, sound, editing etc. Super-villain ensemble “Suicide Squad” will follow “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” when it releases a bit later in August.
