‘Wonder Woman’ News: Themyscira Island Gal Gadot’s Film Setting; Multiple Flashbacks
The “Wonder Woman” movie will be sort of a time travel concept having three locations revealed regarding its settings. Read on for more.
Themyscira will be the first setting; this blissful island is one that Wonder woman calls home since she started her adventure in 1940, so it will be a great recap for the movie goers to see this iconic comic landmark. The second was revealed in 1916’s middle events of world war one and the last will be at late 2017’s modern day setting. This current event will be inclined to the events of “Justice League” part one and Gadot’s wonder woman. The change of wonder woman’s outfit will be one of the factors to use in indicating to what setting she is already.
The movie will start filming in November with the said locations in London, England and the island of Basilicata in Italy as it represents the Themyscira Island.
This “wonder woman” solo movie will have her love interest Steve Trevor that will be played by Chris Pine. Also, Michele MacLaren who was originally the choice of Warner Brothers was replaced by Patty Jenkins as the new director of the said project, Moviepilot reported.
The wonder woman project was allegedly reported to have been copying the success of Marvel cinematic universe’”Captain America”. Not associating her with a feminist impact could possibly be the reason of having three settings but this could be also the reason why they thought their copying “Captain America’s” way of success. This marvel studious character is totally an iconic one so possibilities are high. Well, we cannot tell anything yet. After all, we have not seen the movie yet.
The outcome of the movie will be released on June 23, 2017. This is going to be an exciting film for the movie goers out there so watch out for more updates!
