World’s Number One Player Serena Williams Took Cab For Finishing Charity Run
Worlds’ number one tennis star Serena Williams was recently spotted at the Serena Williams Live Ultimate Run South Beach 2015 charity run in Miami. Williams was not able to finish the run due to her injuries are reportedly took a cab to reach the finishing line while sister Venus Williams successfully completed the 5 km run. According to New Zealand Herald, 34-year-old Williams began the race along with 3000 participants at the Ocean Drive of Miami. She was spotted wearing an orange colored top paired bottomed with black leggings and sneakers. Williams is known for her loud fashion choices and at the race too she was spotted wearing round hoops with the matching ring.
Though it known that she is going through an injury phase and had taken a break from tennis for a year, it might be the reason because of which she took a cab in the mid-way and reached to the finishing line. It is allegedly said that she covered a major distance of the run through the cab.
Williams announced in October this year about her knee and elbow injury, noting that she doesn’t want to play injured and put her career at risk. She has already played injured last season in US Open where she lost against Roberta Vinci disappointing her fans worldwide.

The charity fund of the event will go to Serena Williams Fund which will be used for many good causes.
