‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’ Movie Confirmed By Voice Actor John C. Reilly; Sequel Include Mario Brothers And Zelda?
Three years after the first film has been released, Disney fans finally got a confirmation that a “Wreck-It Ralph” 2 is in the works. Lead voice actor John C. Reilly hinted that the box office film is getting a sequel.
According to Crossmap, Reilly, who played the titular character, shared that he has signed up to do a “Wreck-It Ralph” sequel at the Galway Film Fleadh last week. Disney, however, has yet to release the official date of the premiere. It was said that they are still waiting for director Rich Moore to finish filming “Zootopia.”
As previously reported by VC Post, the highly anticipated sequel could feature some of the other beloved Nintendo characters such as Mario, Luigi, Link and Zelda. It was said that Moore have already met up with several writers and producers so that they may be able to brainstorm ideas for the animated feature.
Reilly will reportedly reprise his role as Ralph, his co-stars Sarah Silverman (Vanellope Von Schweetz), Jane Lynch (Sergeant Calhoun) and Jack McBrayer (Fix-It Felix) were also reportedly willing to return in the sequel.
It is not surprising that Disney went ahead and do a “Wreck-It Ralph 2” movie, given that its predecessor earned over $470 million worldwide with a $165 million budget.
