‘X-Men-Apocalypse’ Director Bryan Singer Posts Photos of Big Egyptian Set
The X-men movie is largely based in the United States, but director Bryan Singer for “X-Men-Apocalypse” shows his fascination for things around the globe, as on several occasions he tries to showcase them. Bryan Singer has displayed photos of himself on Instagram, in which he stands in front of a huge statute of Anubis on the set of “X-Men: Apocalypse.” This new photograph gives us a first look of the titular apocalypse character.
Singer recently showcased one of his photos on the sets of destroyed Cairo where he was walking through the rubble, says Screenrant. Now a considerably more impressive image has been has been shared by the director on another Egyptian site.
In the photo, Singer looks to be surrounded by monumental set of an interior of an Ancient Egyptian building looking up a statute of Setesh, IGN reported. The photo caption boasts the hash tag “notallgreenscreen” and has taken reference from “Indiana Jones” adventure flick Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Considering the presumed expenditure on this set, it is expected that a significant quantity of screen time have been given to it. There are numerous other surprises to come as you go and watch the movie.
Except the few candid pictures of young actors in their costumes, Singer’s photos, mostly of the set, are good teaser for the film. And we can make an assumption as to what to expect before the production comes to an end.
Since April, the filming of “X-Men: Apocalypse” has been going on in Montreal and is scheduled to be released in early summer 2016. At present the shoot is probably nearing to a completion.
