‘X-Men: Apocalypse’: Our Expectations from the Soon to Release Trailer
“X-Men: Apocalypse” is going to release its trailer with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and as December is almost here, we get to see two early Christmas presents in the form of both the movies. So before the trailer releases, here is our list of expectations from the movie:
- 1. According to Cinema Blend, since “X-Men: Apocalypse” is going to unleash the first God-like mutant and pit him against the X-Men, it would be only justified to show his origin story right from the Egyptian days to his resurrection. One would want to know what makes the first one so powerful and how exactly can he be defeated.
- 2. Second will be to see the more prominent mutants in the best of their capabilities when they will unite to fight against Apocalypse. When we mention prominent mutants we expect Magneto, Professor X, Mystique and Beast to use all the experience they have as mutants to fight this megalomaniac. More burden will be on Magneto since he also happens to be the most powerful mutant in the X-Men universe. One could expect Eric to carry out something unbelievable and show what his true strength is.
- 3. Third will be the four horsemen who Apocalypse will control. The four horsemen also happen to be some of the best-known mutants in the X-Men universe and anyone would expect a brilliant portrayal from their side, especially when they will be fighting the X-Men while being controlled by En Sabah Nur.
- 4. Finally, we would love to see Professor X training the next generation of mutants and helping them hone their capabilities so that they can use them when they are needed. “X-Men: Apocalypse” will see the younger versions of Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm and many other mutants included in the roster and at one point they will be fighting Apocalypse. So their training has to be just right in order for them to survive Apocalypse’s power and keep themselves away from harm’s way.
Screen Rant added the comments that James McAvoy made about going bald for “X-Men: Apocalypse.” According to the “X-Men: Days of Future Past” star, his character Professor X will literally rip half of his hair out after having experienced something really terrible and painful. In the image that was shared recently, Charles did look extremely worried following which he might just do the deed.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” will release next year on May 27th and the trailer is expected soon.
