‘X-Men: Apocalypse’: James McAvoy Thinks One of the Mutants has the Worst Power
As much as he is known to playing the role of Professor Xavier, he is also known for his sense of humor. James McAvoy in a recent interview shared a little detail about which mutant he thinks has the worst superpower in the “X-Men” universe.
According to Entertainment Weekly, McAvoy spoke very candidly in the interview until he was asked about which mutant he thinks has the worst superpower by a caller. The “X-Men: Apocalypse” star thought about it and even uttered Hawkeye’s name, which has very often been the butt of many jokes amongst the “Avengers,” but eventually took Jubilee’s name.
As many might know Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye uses bows and arrows to fight against his enemies, which quite honestly is getting primitive especially when there is Iron Man’s armor, Captain America’s shield, “Thor’s Mjolnir and “Hulk’s super strength to protect everyone.
In McAvoy’s defense, it was kind of him to not lock his answer on Hawkeye and instead stick with a fellow “X-Men.” Jubilee is known to shoot energy blasts out of her hands. However, according to McAvoy, “X-Men: Apocalypse” will see the character using the power of electricity. This certain change in character would add curiosity and it would be nice to see what Jubilee can do on-screen.
Screen Crush added that despite her powers, which are not amongst the most favorite ones, Jubilee has over time become a fan-favorite and has appeared in “X-Men” cartoons and even in the “X-Men” movies. Though her appearance in the “X-Men” movies were mainly hit and miss, one should expect a bigger role for her in the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
The movie, which is due to release on May 27, 2016, will see the X-Men pitied against Apocalypse, an Egyptian God like mutant who is said to be the first mutant ever. Now how exactly will Charles and his troop of young mutant will defeat a God like creature remains to be seen.
