‘X-Men: Apocalypse:’ Quicksilver set to steal the show as Mystique will Lead the Team

This movie is set to be the best movie in the “X-Men” franchise over the last few years because “X-Men: Apocalypse” will see the mutant team go against the first mutant ever. Even though there will considerably be many known mutants in the team but two mutants amongst them will stand out in the movie.

According to Movie Pilot, the new trilogy that started with “X-Men: First Class” saw the character of Mystique get redeemed in the franchise and made her so powerful individually that there are high chances she might even land up her own solo/spin-off movie someday. This also did wonders for Jennifer as her career as a movie star shot up to new boundaries.

The character saw quite a change from being Charles’ younger sister to becoming a major villain and eventually getting defined as an anti-hero in “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” I personally think the moment when she decided not to kill Trask or Eric in the concluding scene of the movie really defined her as an individual and made her stand out from the likes of Charles and Eric both.

That moment defined her as a mutant who will neither depend nor ask for Charles and Eric’s help and guidance regarding anything, that’s why she will be one of the most important characters in “X-Men: Apocalypse.” Its so important that Charles will leave it to her to decide what strategy will the “X-Men” choose when it comes to saving Eric and encountering Apocalypse.

As far as Quicksilver is concerned, apart from his little moment with his alleged father Eric, him doing the slow-motion attack over the time became a legendary move. Fans loved it so much that they are looking forward to Quicksilver pulling something like that again in “X-Men: Apocalypse.” It would be delightful for fans to know that there indeed is a similar sequence in “X-Men: Apocalypse” like the Pentagon one we saw in “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

Cinema Blend added some things that the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse” trailer should show us and amongst that was Apocalypse’s Egyptian past, Magneto showing off his real power and the new students Professor X will be training in the movie. “X-Men: Apocalypse” will be releasing its first trailer with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on December 18th and the movie itself will release on May 27th next year.
