‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Hits Theatres on May 23, 2014 [WATCH VIDEO]
Twentieth Century Fox’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past” hits theatres on May 23, 2014. It is directed by Bryan Singer. Some of its cast members include Jennifer Lawrence (Raven/Mystique), Hugh Jackman (Logan/Wolverine), Ian McKellen (Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto), James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat) and Patrick Stewart (Professor Charles Xavier).
“X-Men: Days of Future Past” Film Synopsis:
Among the “X-Men” series, this upcoming film is the second installment of the younger generation of X-Men. Its predecessor is “X-Men First Class,” which was shown in 2011. Although a typical action-packed film, the movie’s twist is about the mutants’ time travelling to the past to join forces with their younger selves in a battle to save the future.
Although X-Men: Days of Future Past” hits theatres on May 23, 2014 and is yet to be seen on screen, according to Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer, 100% of moviegoers or a total of 108,831 would like to see this film! How awesome is that?
In an interview with IGN, Hugh Jackman was asked about featuring a younger version of Logan in “X-Men: First Class.” Jackman was sure enough to point out that the production team had a discussion about it. He explained how blessed he was for having been cast as “Wolverine” for seven times.
“Look, that’s inevitable, man. Anyone who thinks they’re indispensable in this business is fooling themselves. But I feel unbelievably blessed to have this part. I never thought in a million years I’d get to play him seven times. Every day I walk on the set with the claws and the hair, I thank my lucky stars. I don’t take any of it for granted,” said Jackman in the IGN report.
Meanwhile, Ellen Page told Collider.com that she was happy for having reprised her role from “X-Men: The Last Stand” as Shadowcat. She described that it was awesome and that she was grateful to be back.
“Really, truly, it’s not like something I’ve known for a year by any means. I really didn’t know that long before we went to shoot, added Page in the Collider report.
