‘X-Men’ Franchise To Begin Production Of X-Men 7 In 2017
“X-Men Apocalypse” will hit the big screen by the summer of 2016. However, some new reports have surfaced recently and if they are to be believed, the longest running franchise will start the production of another movie. Does this mean we will get “X-Men 7”?
According to reports that have been released recently from Den of Geek, all the members of the production crew will meet in Nov. of 2016 and will discuss plans on starting a new project in 2017. And believe it or not, it is also reported that Bryan Singer will be back at the control as director of the upcoming movie.
The President of Mel Studios has quoted that it is very surprising to everyone that they were able to showcase the movie in 2013 in Montreal. It will be really amazing if they are able to convince Fox Entertainment to show as the second and the third installment in the same manner.
When Fox was contacted to comment about their future plans, they did not come with any type of official confirmation that a new movie is in plans after the release of “X-Men Apocalypse.” However, there is no reason that they will not want to start another project in 2017.
According to Heroic Hollywood, for the talented director, there is another project in the pipeline and we are talking about “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.” Now the big question is that of timming. Will Bryan Singer be able to complete his projects to be available for the direction of X-Men?
Regardless of whether an official confirmation has been received or not, one thing certainly makes sense. The shooting for the movies “X-Men Apocalypse” and Days Of future Past took place in Montreal and it does make sense to shoot the next movie at the same place.
