Yolanda Foster, ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Star And Two Children Suffer From Lyme Disease
Yolanda Foster, who has suffered from Lyme disease, says two of her children have also been battling the disease. The American TV personality has three children: Gigi, Anwar, and Bella.
The Dutch-born actress was diagnosed with Lyme disease in the year 2012 leaving her fans worried for her. Lately, she also disclosed to media that her two children, Bella, 18 and Anwar, 16 are also suffering from the disease. She said that in 2012 ,when she came to know that Bella and Anwar also have the diseas,e she was devastated. She said, “watching my babies struggle in silence in order to support me in my journey, struck the deepest core of hopelessness inside of me.”
Also called Lyme borreliosis, the disease is infectious and is caused by bacteria. In early 2015, Foster had communicated to her fans that the disease has left her miserable as she was unable to read anything, watch TV, or write.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star who is 51, was acknowledged recently with the “Power of One” award. In the award show, her elder daughter Gigi said that her mother has used the television show to make people more aware. She added, “She was honest, unapologetic, and raw in how she portrayed Lyme disease on social media.” (via People Magazine)
Yolanda Foster formed a matrimonial alliance with Mohamed Hadid in year 1994. The Palestinian-American real estate developer has fathered her three children. She got married to musician David Foster months before her disease was diagnosed. In her speech, the mother of three promised her two children that she would not let them live a painful life. She would do everything to find an effective cure for the disease.
Her discourse was highly appreciated by the audience and they wished she and her children would get well soon.
