WARNING: This section contains spoilers regarding “Scandal” Season 5 Episode 9 “Rasputin” which will air tonight 9 pm ET on ABC.

Papa Rowan Pope (Joe Morton) is out! Thanks to an out of the blue get-out-of-jail card courtesy of his estranged and resentful daughter Olivia (Kerry Washington). Catch the footage here.

Papa Pope gives another menacing soliloquy on the scary training wheels of life this time to his very own daughter: Declaring that the world unwisely settled itself harmoniously due to his forced confinement. Now he is back to settle more unfinished scores with the human race. This time around though he has brought a back-up which like him doesn’t’ possess a single strand of moral fiber.

Will Papa Pope launched himself into one of his signature shocker of devious ways once more?

As the voice-over of the trailer also warned, there’s “one dirty little secret” that will blowup before the dreaded winter finale of “Scandal”.

This peril is brought up by Senator Mellie (Bellamy Young) in a hostile phone conversation with Olivia.

“I’m gonna tell Fitz what we did…what you did,” the former first lady nastily expressed her intention.

Olivia then can be then seen watery-eyed inside an interrogation room. Her beau, President Fitz Grant (Tony Goldwyn) swoops across from her in the room. A true expression of seriousness all-over his face which Liv has never seen before as he spilled the demoralizing query of: “Tell me it’s not true Liv?”
