Amy Duggar seems to be a tough young woman who is not at all ready to abide by the still ongoing norms of the conservative Duggar family. It was a just like a law that the Duggar women must get pregnant shortly after their marriage, but Amy has strictly declared that she presently has no intention of giving birth a child at her early period of her wedding, thanks to her soulmate Dillon King who has made himself out of this strict code.
Amy and Dillon got married on Sept. 6 and visited Cancún for their honeymoon and everybody in the Duggar family thought that the former “19 Kids and Counting” star would return with a good news.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Amy revealed that her cousin asked her after her returning from Cancún if she was pregnant, but she broke everybody’s heart. They were almost shocked to know that Amy and Dillon were not planning for extending the family anytime soon.
There’s no honeymoon baby… I think [Dillon] will be an awesome dad and I can’t wait to be a mom someday, but we’ve got so many little cousins to love on and so many little kiddos that we don’t feel like we’re missing out,” Amy opined with no hesitation even adding that they would never think for a lot of kids.
According to Design & Trend, Amy’s cousin, Jessa recently delivered a male baby with her husband Ben Seewald this month just after a year of their marriage. Jill Duggar with her husband Derick Dillard also gave birth to a male infant even not completing a year of their marriage.
This is not the first time Amy challenged all the members of conservative Duggar family who still believe in the old school of Christianity that preventing pregnancy is a taboo as it’s rejecting the gifts of God. Hollywood Life gave an exclusive coverage of Amy and Dillon in the mid of September when they were spending their best phase of life during the honeymoon. The couple went against the family tradition and shared their smooching snaps including her bikini shots on Instagram.
