It was all about childhood memories and sentimental values in the latest episode of “2 Broke Girls” Season 4 Episode 3 “And the Childhood Not Included.” Read on for the full recap.
When Max arrived at the apartment, she was surprised to receive a package from her mother. Caroline was very curious to know what Max’s mother has sent her, but Max didn’t want to open the package. That same day, Han brought his fish tank and bragged about one of the fishes that cost $500.
Meanwhile, Oleg and Sophie made it official, and they’re back together after they broke up with their respective partners.
After work, Max still didn’t want to open the package from her mom, so she left it in the hallway because she didn’t want to see it. She has so many negative memories from her childhood, and her mother wasn’t really there for her while she was growing up. This led to Caroline to be more curious, so she opened the package and found a Teddy Ruxpin bear inside.
Max told her that it was the only toy that she had when she was a child, and she named it “T-Rux” and even recorded her own voice. They brought the bear over to the cupcake shop, and there was a mother and son who was eating there who saw the bear and offered to buy the bear for $500 because the child loves '90s toys. Max didn’t want to sell it but still took their card just in case she changed her mind.
Han asked the girls to clean the fish tank, and it was Caroline who did it. She accidentally threw the expensive blue fish in the garbage can. They didn’t want to tell Han what happened, and at the same time, they don’t have that money to replace the fish. Then again, Han must not find out about what happened, so they went to the child’s house to sell the bear. But they still didn’t sell it because Caroline told Max that she shouldn’t because it was the only memory that she has from her childhood.
They went to Oleg instead for help, and in exchange for $500, they gave him a foot rub. When Caroline was about to put the fish into the tank, Han suddenly was there. Caroline had to hide to fish inside her bra, but Sophie broke the plastic bag so Caroline had to wriggle the fish free and make sure that it drops into the water without Han noticing it. It’s the fish’s birthday for goodness sake!
Fortunately, the fish was saved, and all’s well.
