Read on.
According to Venture Capital Post, the fifth season will be airing specifically in September. However, no official release date has been released yet. Some spoilers regarding the show were revealed and they hint at the fact that Max and Caroline might get richer in this season as compared to the testing times they have been through. Dennings, who plays Max. in an interview recently stated that it would indeed be great if both the characters could taste some success financially. She also mentioned that her character could go crazy and buy dozens of cars and then maybe just live with them. A good financial condition for the characters would especially mean a lot to Max since she is the one who comes from a working-class background and could use some luxury. There is also a possibility that Christian, who starred in the first season of the sitcom, could make a comeback in the upcoming season.
In the final episode Season 4, Max and Caroline decide to quit their jobs. They finally realized to leave the diner because they already have their cupcake store. However, their savings dipped again by the time the season ended.
On the other hand, fans could expect to see Jonathan Kite’s Vanko Oleg Golishevsky throwing in more funny and flirty one-liners. It was reported once that Kite had to learn more about getting the Ukrainian accent right. Fortunately, it was easy for him since he had a lot of Eastern European friends and could easily adapt to it. The official plot of the show is still unknown, but the upcoming season’s shoot will start from next month.
