It is that time of year again when teenagers take matters into their own hands and let the world know what they like, whether it be about movies, television shows, music, sports, fashion and more. It is the time of year that instead of golden statuettes, gigantic surfboards are given out to the winners. Let us hear it for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards! Read on to find out who the winners are.

The 2014 Teen Choice Awards was held on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Calif. The original venue was supposed to the Pauley Pavillion in UCLA. However, they had to change the venue due to some flooding on campus that was caused by a main water pipe bursting.

The show was hosted by Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”) and Sarah Hyland (“Modern Family”). Many went home with surfboards, but the highlight of the night was the Ultimate Choice Award, which was awarded to Selena Gomez.
