Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are once again cracking a case, but , according to IMDb, this time around, it’s not as high school students but as college students. In “21 Jump Street,” Schmidt and Jenko played undercover roles at a local high school for a drug case. As they star in “22 Jump Street,” they are about to welcome college life once again and solve a case within a fraternity. However, it seems that college life will take a toll on their partnership.

Schmidt will take interest in art while Jenko will form a new friendship with a football player. These two detectives are known to be quite immature but they mesh well together, which have made them become a huge success in their local high school case. What about this time around?

With all the changes that they are about to go through, will their partnership survive?

“22 Jump Street” will have returning original cast members such as Captain Dickson (Ice Cube) and Eric Molson (Dave Franco).

Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who were also the directors of “The Lego Movie,” directed the movie sequel to “21 Jump Street.” New cast members will also be introduced such as Amber Stevens (“The Amazing Spider-Man”) and Wyatt Russell who turned down a role for “The Hunger Games” to make way for this movie. Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum and Neal H. Moritz are the producers of the movie.

This action comedy film is not all about solving a case. Are these two detectives ready to mature and handle the changes that they are about to face especially the one involving their partnership? College life is going to be jam-packed with adventures and new people to meet, but with a case to solve, how are they going to juggle all of these, considering that their partnership will be at stake, too? Are they going to mature or are they just going to let their immaturity get the best of them?

Don’t forget, “22 Jump Street” hits theatres in June 2014. It will be shown in several U.S. theatres on June 13, 2014. Aside from the U.S., it will also be shown in other countries including Australia (June 5, 2014), UK (June 6, 2014) and New Zealand (June 19, 2014).
