2NE1 may not make a comeback. The fact that 2NE1 is going to make a comeback on 21st November, may just prove to be another rumor. It was recently revealed that only CL, who is the girl group’s leader, will be making a comeback. Read on for more details.
We recently reported the news that CL, Minzy, Park Bom, and Dara were looking to resurrect the ever popular girl group 2NE1. Apparently, the news hasn’t been confirmed by YG Entertainment or the girls. It has been revealed that the group’s most talented member, CL, is going to release an album in the US, but the other girls will continue to keep busy with other activities.
Ever since the time the group took a hiatus, Dara has been keeping busy by indulging in a career in acting. Minzy has been keeping busy with a dance academy in Seoul and Park Bom is trying to clean her name from a drug scandal by drowning out her personality in anonymity. None of the girls look like they want to make a comeback as the girl group again. But the group’s fan club, the blackjacks, are still hopeful that the girls may yet make a return. Only the news that has been doing rounds, hasn’t yet been confirmed by any of the girls or YG entertainment.
But it has been confirmed that the group’s leader CL is going to release a solo album in the US featuring the song, “Doctor Pepper,” which is already getting much attention from the press. She will be collaborating with DJ Diplo to produce songs that seem to be targeted at the hiphop/rap genre.
Will the group 2NE1 really make a comeback this November? We don’t really know for sure. But we’ll let you know when that happens.
