The 48th CMA Awards  will be broadcast live on ABC as the event happens from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Nov. 5, 2014 at 8 p.m. The annual ceremony will be hosted by well-known country singers by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, who have been hosting the event for six straight times. According to E! Online, the partial list of nominees was announced on Good Morning America. It was followed by a press conference headed by Darius Rucker and Little Big Town in New York City on Sept.3, 2014.

E! Online also reported that country crooner Miranda Lambert leads the group with nine nominations, which is the same record she has set in 2010. She is currently named as the female artist with the most nominations in CMA history. Lambert is also given the nominations of  several CMA major awards include the entertainer of the year award, as well as, album of the year for “Platinum.”

When asked about the huge success of “Platinum,” Lambert said that “it just getting started.” She added, “George Strait’s had a career — well, he’s had a career longer than I’ve been alive! So I’ve got a long way to go,”  told Lambert The Times in June.
