5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS)Ashton Irwin admitted to 5SOS fans that he was once a naughty boy. Read on.
The 5SOS members may seem like someone you would consider as an angel, but it seems like they are just like the other playful, naughty boys in town.
According to Unreality TV, the 19-year-old guitarist and lead vocalist of 5SOS, Luke Hemmings, once confessed that he spent his childhood in detention as he didn’t care that much in rules and authority.
Hemmings was young as six years old when he first experienced being discipline a lot.
The singer revealed that “while he wasn’t a ‘bad’ child, he certainly wasn’t an ‘obedient’ one either.”
“At primary school I was in a world of my own and often I would get told off for being too loud. Then when I was around six, I wouldn’t go to class. I would be in school, but running around the playground having a great time while everyone else was in lessons.” Irwin said via Unreality TV
He went on by saying that waiting outside the principal’s office was ‘definitely’ terrifying.
Meanwhile, after a year, another 5SOS band member admitted that like Hemmings, he was also a ‘naughty’ boy before he and the band became famous, and it’s none other than the 21-year-old drummer, Ashton Irwin.
Mail Online reported that Irwin reveals his naughty past while having a Q&A portion for the band’s fans at their secret gig.
Irwin admitted that he was not always as composed as what people think, he has a bad side too and “a bit rascal” to the point where he even egged McDonalds.
The singer revealed that before he left with 5SOS, he was used to buying foods at McDonald’s until one day, he and his friend decided to make their meals a bit extraordinary.
“On the last day with my friend we egged McDonald’s at Windsor, and I just want to formally apologize to the people who had to clean that up,” Irwin said before adding, “I’m sorry. We were little rascals.”
Moving on, in the band’s recent appearance in Network Ten’s “The Project,” they revealed that it was nice going back to their original fans.
“It’s great to be back in Australia, it’s special to us. We see our families, our fans, the fans who have been here since the beginning. There’s a real sense of pride for us.”
