Why wouldn’t they leave the band members alone? 5 Seconds of Summer singer, Ashton Irwin, expressed his concern for the wellbeing of his family via the internet when a crazed fan posted his mother’s address over the internet. There was much talk amidst the 5 Seconds of Summer fandom over who might have stooped so low as to post such a message, but apparently the original message was deleted and the fans never found out who it was who leaked the said information.
What has happened to fandoms worldwide? People are ignoring celebrities’ right to privacy and they are acting more and more like Paparazzi these days. Ashton Irwin was in a fix recently when somebody revealed his mother’s address via the internet. He was so angry he posted his anger over facebook, although he deleted the post eventually.
The Mirror UK reported the post. The post said, “ If you have my address please delete it. It’s my time to be with my family. I love you guys, but I need to be away from people for a while. Thanks to the asshole who posted my mums address threatening the lives of my family just by doing so. Really, you are one of the lowest human beings I have ever met. Hope you’re happy.” Yee-ouch! It looks like Ashton was in a really bad mood when he posted the message on facebook. Perez Hilton reports that he later posted the same message on Google +.
Celebrities are always worried that crazed fans might hurt their families or friends. There have been many many incidents when crazed fans have done things that they shouldn’t have. Anyway, this is yuletide my friends – the time to be civil and good around other people. I hope that the 5SOS fandom will remember that bit and not bother Ashton while he spends time with his family.
