5 Seconds of Summer Talk About Love, Girls and Balls
5 Seconds of Summer

5 Seconds of Summer claim that they know how to read minds. They claim that they can tell when a boy is in love with a girl. It’s got something to do with the way the boy plays ball with the girl. Read on for more details.

It sounds like a very corny, slightly off-color joke, but Sugarscape reports that the boys from 5 Seconds of Summer have indeed talked about love being something about balls. 5 Seconds of Summer claim that a girl can always tell if a boy loves her by looking at the way he throws the ball at her.

Band members of 5SOS, Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin were obviously having fun with the turn of phrase. Ashton was particularly funny when he claimed that a girl can tell when a young boy in primary school throws a ball at her. It is a definite sign that the boy is interested in her. He promised that he wasn’t being mean or perverse about it.

Ashton just wanted to say that maybe, just maybe, boys will always be boys and they like to play ball. He tried to clarify that it was the sheer innocence of the gesture that just speaks volumes about the boy losing his heart to the girl of his dreams. He said that it was like something he could not explain, but he was quite sure that it was the thing to look out for.

5 Seconds of Summer are obviously right about the whole thing. Somebody giving a girl a ball is obviously inviting her to play with them. Oh God! We just can’t stop saying things that will obviously spark off a discussion, now, can we? We know that it all sounds like an offcolor joke, but we swear we didn’t come up with it all by ourselves. It was 5SOS. They said it. Honest!
