5SOS: Ashton Irwin In Self-Critical Mode; Says ‘We Kind of Sucked!’

5 Seconds of Summer stars are much tired, but seems as if these stars are lose their confidence. The boys recently told the press that they thought that they had sucked pretty hard on their tour with One Direction. Well, if they did, we were too starstruck to notice it.

Ashton Irwin surprised his fans when he said that the 5 Seconds of Summer were loud and bad when they were on tour with One Direction. He even insinuated that he thought that their music wasn’t quite as good as One Direction’s music and he reckoned that some kids were covering their ears when they were playing.

He got that preposterous notion in his head when he was playing with the nice boys from One Direction. The group was talking to the host of “Alan Carr’s Chatty Man,” last night when they made this confession.

Being die-hard fans of 5SOS, we can’t say that these boys can ever play out of tune, let alone sound bad when they take up their drums and axes, but we don’t have any formal training in music to be absolutely sure of it.

What we do know is that their music is always pleasant listening and make us dance with joy every time it plays on TV or wheresoever. In other words, if we ever met Ashton Irwin, we’d just ask him, “What the hell was that about? You don’t suck at music! For heaven’s sake, you are awesome at it.”

Ashton’s been in this self-critical mode recently, confessed that the girls who flock to his concert aren’t exactly there to check out his drumming. He told the press that he thought that they are not there to judge his drumming or say this guy sucks, so he never gets to know how bad or good he is at the drums.

Come off it, Ashton! That’s enough soul searching for now. You just have to know that you are good if the crowds dig your music. There is nothing more to it.

Sugarscape agrees with us on this point.
