Release Date: Feb. 6, 2015

From the creators of films that bend reality to make way for different kinds of dimensions, the Wachsowski brothers has cooked up another sci-fi movie that has viewers anticipating for it since early last year when the trailer was released. “Jupiter Ascending” packs a star-studded cast with Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis and recent Golden Globe Award-winning actor Eddie Redmayne, amongst all others.

“Seventh Son”

Release Date: Feb. 6, 2015

A film going head to head on the release date with “Jupiter Ascending,” “Seventh Son” packs a punch in the fantasy and adventure film genre. Just like the first mentioned film, “Seventh Son” had its promotion spiked earlier than its release date, but the film is sure to retain its glory judging by its expensive-looking production value.

“Fifty Shades of Grey”

Release Date: Feb. 13, 2015

The only film that is definitely not suitable for all audiences, “Fifty Shades of Grey” will probably be the go-to film for couples, soccer moms and singles that have developed a taste for the erotic romance. Based on the best-selling novel by E. L. James, Jamie Dornan brings to life the tantalizing, mercurial and highly sexual Christian Grey as he beats the usual pattern of love stories in wooing the fair and innocent Anastasia Steele played by Dakota Johnson.

“Kingsman: The Secret Service”

Release Date: Feb. 13, 2015

Receiving high praises and appreciation for the younger James Bond kind of film genre, “Kingsman: The Secret Service” is the pioneering film that has survived the critical outtakes of overrated adolescent espionage films. Director Matthew Vaughn has solidly earned his reputation in creating comic book-based films that started off with “Kick-Ass” and was followed by “X-Men: First Class.” “Kingsman: The Secret Service” follows after a group of young adults who are trained in joining an elite group of super spies. One of the recruits is Eggsy, played by newcomer Taron Egerton, and he has Colin Firth’s Harry Hart showing him the gentlemanly ways to take down the enemy.

Release Date: Feb. 27, 2015

The film that features two of DC’s leading actors to be in their upcoming “Suicide Squad,” “Focus” tells the story of a professional conman, played by Will Smith, who takes a woman apprentice, played by Margot Robbie, to which he’s later on developed feelings for. Despite the commonality of the film’s premise, some unexpected turn of events could happen, especially with duo Glenn Ficara and John Requa taking the film’s helming and screen playing reins.

“The Lazarus Effect”

Release Date: Feb. 27, 2015

The only horror film for the month that exemplifies romance, “The Lazarus Effect” has Olivia Wilde starring on her first horror film, and she looks pretty good in it. The irony of such film is highly appealing in its own wit.

That ends our list of films to watch out for in February. Keep tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates on films, celebrities and TV shows.
