6 Reasons We Want Moondragon in The ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Sequel

With director James Gunn recently confirming that a new spot has opened up in the team in “Guardians of The Galaxy 2,” we cannot contain our excitement that the new Guardian could be Moondragon – a telepath and martial artist. What’s so special about her, you ask? Read on to find out.

6 Reasons Moondragon Should Be in The “Guardians of the Galaxy 2:”

1. She is an immensely powerful telepath, and once enslaved an entire planet with her mind melting powers. Another time, she turned Thor into her personal love-slave. Tell us you don’t want to see that happening sometime in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

2. She is bald. She is not naturally bald but chooses to be. It is a well known fact that every time somebody shaves their head they level up 20x in ‘badassery.’ Think Natalie Portman in “V for Vendetta” or Sigourney Weaver in “Alien.”

3. She is not a goodie two shoes. Not even close. In fact, she is possessed by an immortal evil dragon that gives her an intense superiority complex. Therefore, she would be the perfect foil to Chris Pratt’s adorableness and bring a much needed element of sarc to the team.

4. Remember that dragon that possesses her? It also turns her into an actual fire breathing, interstellar dragon. And if you don’t think Starlord riding a dragon is the most epic cinematic moment of all time, you’re probably reading the wrong blog.

5. She is Drax’s daughter. So it wouldn’t take much plot-shifting to incorporate her into the “Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel. Not only is she his daughter, but she is also responsible for straight up murdering him once he strayed for the straight and narrow. Talk about a complex multi-layer character.

6. She is an expert martial artist, capable of blocking any physical pain by her complete control over her nervous system, does not shy from bloodshed. Scratch ‘GOTG,’ We now want a solo moondragon movie because We are starting to feel like the others would only cramp her style.
