The 78-year-old stand-up comedian, Bill Cosby has been accused by a New Hampshire woman of defamation. Kristina Ruehli on Monday said that the actor has falsely accused her of lying in answer to her charges on him for raping her in 1965.  Bill Cosby sexually assaulted Kristina Ruehli latest news follows below!

According to Reuters, “Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids” host, Cosby has a similar suit against him in federal court in Massachusetts and California also. More than 50 women have accused the “The Cosby Show” star of sexually assaulting them. The victims claim the actor drugged them or resorted to alcohol to make them lose their senses and then assaulted them.

After allegedly raping the women, “I Spy” actor Cosby has never landed himself in much legal trouble so far as no criminal charges have been filed against him. One of the main reasons is that the incidents took place long time back and there are limitations for prosecution now.

Ruehli in an interview with Philadelphia Magazine in 2014 stated that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Cosby. The incident took place in the actor’s California home many years back. She also produced the same statement in papers for U.S. District Court in Springfield, Massachusetts.

To this, Bill Cosby’s attorney in response summed up the claims as “unsubstantiated, fantastical stories.” It stated that there was no dearth of lawyers who are always ready to represent people willing to make claims against men with money and power. This surely must have shocked the victims if their accusations against the actor are true, no doubt.

Monday’s lawsuit maintains that Bill Cosby has defamed Kristina Ruehli with the aforementioned statement. The suit is now seeking financial damages too. It states that it was one thing for the accused to stay silent, let the legal process come to conclusion or public to form its opinion. “But it is quite another for him to unleash his agents to deny that he attacked the plaintiff and other women, to invite others to republish his statements, and to brand them as unreliable liars,” Reuters reported.
