Since awards, speeches, gigs and other events have started being aired live by entities, there are end number of TV blunders that have made headlines. But it seems some would always be talked about.
The recent live TV and blunder took place on the stage of prestigious Miss Universe 2015 contest has created a lot of hubbub. The 2015 Miss Universe finale on Dec. 20 was going smooth like every Miss Universe pageant in the past, but then something embarrassing happened while announcing the name of the winner.
It looked like a farce when Steve Harvey returned on the stage and apologized for announcing Ms. Colombia as Miss Universe 2015. He took complete responsibility for the mistake and many would have forgiven him too considering his deep voice is such a music to ears. But a part of Ms. Columbia’s heart might have broken when the crown was taken from her head and embellished on Ms. Philippine’s tresses.
John Travolta’s Flub at 2014 Oscars
One of the other TV gaffes is related to John Travolta. The Oscars of 2014 were definitely not lucky for him. He flubbed while introducing “Frozen” actress, Idina Menzel. He ended up saying, “Please welcome the wickedly talented, one and only Adele Dazeem.” Though Travolta was reading the teleprompter but the things just went awry. This incident was followed by many hilarious memes.
Kendall Jenner at 2014 Billboard Music Awards
One blunder also took place at 2014 Billboard Music Awards. The beautiful Kendall Jenner was supposed to introduce “5 Seconds of Summer” but instead she said, “One…” and then broke into laughter to hide her mistake. No doubt Jenner had One Directions’ Harry Style, her ex on mind.

If one turns the pages backwards, one episode of TV blunder has also been contributed by Cheryl Boone. It was the live broadcast of the Academy Award nomination announcements and the year was 2015 and the month was January. The Academy president was supposed to pronounce cinematographer Richard Dick’ Pope’ and she accidentally uttered “Dick Poop.”.When video went viral, the whole world felt that unintentionally the great cinematographer was disrespected.

Christina Aguilera landed into an embarrassing situation when she crooned incorrect Super Bowl National Anthem lyrics at 2011’s Super Bowl XLV. Though she was being cheered up by audience as her voice is such a magic but she definitely made headlines for singing those lyrics.
