A to Z” Season 1 Episode 8 “H is for Hostile Takeover” will air on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at 9:30 p.m. on NBC. This episode’s focus will be on Andrew’s empowerment. Before we get into the details, let’s do a quick check back into the episode from last week.

In “G is for Geronimo” (air date: Nov. 13, 2014), Andrew (Ben Feldman) discovered that Zelda (Cristin Milioti) had dreams of being a music artist in her younger years. He found her demo tape when they were sharing songs on iTunes. When he accidentally shared this to the office network, the people loved what they heard from Zelda. She then started having doubts about her decision to quit music altogether. She was on her way to study this at the prestigious Berklee College of Music when she ditched her audition and went with a more practical choice of becoming a lawyer. So now, her doubts started to affect her work.

Andrew thought that Zelda would feel better if she was given a second chance, so he signed her up for another audition at a music school. But Zelda also backed out of that one, admitting to Andrew that the real reason was that she feared she would fail.

However, seeing how much her boyfriend believed in her talent, she changed her mind and went for it. Regardless of the results of the audition, what was important to Zelda now was that she tried. She has a good life, a good job and good friends with her, and it was more than enough.

Meanwhile, Lydia (Christina Kirk) had a drunken night at a bar with her staff, which resulted in her befriending many people on social media. It turned out that she's a nicer person when she’s drunk, and so Harold from HR did an experiment on her. He told her that her iced tea was spiked with alcohol, and knowing that, she has been extra pleasant with her staff the next day. But the truth was, Lydia was only drinking regular iced tea. Harold knew that deep inside her bitchy demeanor, Lydia had a big heart.

Spoiler Alert: “A to Z” Season 1 Episode 8 “H is for Hostile Takeover” will air on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.

In the upcoming episode, Andrew will decided to take on a new hobby, one that he doesn’t share with anyone else but himself. He  will do this because he will realize that a lot of his influences come from his friends or the people close to him, like Stu and Zelda.

Andrew will also become very bold about taking a stand against Lydia, aka Big Bird, who will be introducing a new business strategy for Wallflower. When her plan also includes promoting Jordan, a young assistant to Andrew’s position, that’s when Andrew will feel that he needs to stand up to Big Bird.
