A to Z” Season 1 Episode 12 “L is for Likability” will air on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at 9:30 p.m. on NBC. Andrew’s father unexpectedly arrives to visit his son, and Zelda does her best to win over him. But Andrew’s father is not impressed. Before we get into the details, here’s a quick rundown of what happened the last time.

In “K is for Keep Out” (air date: Jan. 8, 2015), Andrew (Ben Feldman) and Zelda (Cristin Milioti) were eager to have the house alone to themselves, but it wasn’t always easy with their roommates around. When Andrew received game tickets from Stephie’s (Lenora Crichlow) boyfriend, Joseph, Andrew gave this to Stu (Henry Zebrowski) so that while his best friend was out, he and Zelda could enjoy the whole house alone together. But Stephie ruined their date plans when she arrived complaining that her boyfriend and ex-boyfriend have become best buddies. Whose idea was it to let them enjoy a game?

Still unable to get some alone time, Andrew thought it would be best to look for a place of his own, which caused some problems with Stu, as this would mean they would be separating. But, whatever, he’s got a new best friend in Joseph anyway.

When Andrew showed the new apartment he was planning on renting to Zelda, she assumed that he would like for them to live together. Come signing day of the lease, the two tried to delay all they can, as it was clear they were not ready for this next step.

However, Stu blurted out that Andrew did not actually want to live with Zelda just yet, and instead of being upset, Zelda was relieved.

Meanwhile, Big Bird (Christina Kirk) had the hots for Dane (guest star Wayne Wilderson) from corporate, and she enlisted the help of Lora to see if he’s also interested. Dane pretended that he liked Lora, just to fool Big Bird, so to get back at him, she pretended to be dating Lora’s ex. But the matter was all settled when Dane came clean asked Big Bird for a date.

Spoiler Alert: “A to Z” Season 1 Episode 12 “L is for Likability” will air on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.

In the upcoming episode, Andrew’s father (guest star Dan Lauria) is in town to visit his son. It’s an unexpected visit, which throws Zelda off. She tries, however, to win over Pete. But then, Andrew’s father apparently isn’t easily impressed, and he tells his son that he does not like his new girlfriend. Uh-oh! What’s Zelda got to do?

Meanwhile, there’s a new rule on cancellations imposed by Big Bird at Wallflower. She proceeds with this without having to go through corporate for approval, which causes some problems between her and Dane, her co-worker and the guy she’s also dating. Will this spell the end for the two as work gets in the way of their romantic liaison?
