A to Z” Season 1 Episode 13 “M s for Meant to Be” will air on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at 9:30 p.m. on NBC. This is the final episode of the series, and it will feature ex-girlfriends and ex-boyfriends. Before we get into the details, here’s a quick recap of the previous episode.

In “L is for Likability” (air date: Jan. 15, 2015), Andrew’s father came in town for a visit, and he met Zelda (Cristin Milioti) in person for the first time. Andrew (Ben Feldman) was a little apprehensive about this meeting because his father doesn’t have a good history with Andrew’s previous girlfriends. During the dinner at his place, his father and his girlfriend seemed to hit it off pretty well. But before the night ended, his father told him that he doesn’t really like Zelda, and he could’ve done so much better.

Zelda thought that she was well-liked by Pete (guest star Dan Lauria) but found out, based on Andrew’s reaction the next day, that this was not the case. Andrew talked to his father about this, and he uncovered the real reason for his dislike. It’s not Zelda, it’s him. He’s going through a bad separation with his longtime girlfriend, and he would like to have a father-son bonding moment. He would like to travel with Andrew. But how can this happen when his son is so much into his girlfriend?

Andrew is appalled that his father would like to break him up with Zelda. But Zelda wanted to patch things up with these two men, so she arranged for a father-son time at the batting cage. Only, Pete was a no show, and this made Andrew upset and Zelda angry. How could Pete be so inconsiderate? She could not control herself and said her piece to Pete.

In the end, however, Andrew’s father changed his mind about ditching his son; and as they did enjoyed their brief bonding moment, Pete tells Andrew that Zelda is actually marriage material.

Spoiler Alert: “A to Z” Season 1 Episode 13 “M s for Meant to Be” will air on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.

In the show’s final episode, Andrew’s ex-girlfriend returns to town. Madeline (guest star Dreama Walker) arrives, and Zelda is feeling threatened by her return. Is Madeline secretly trying to win him back? To make sure that this doesn’t happen, Zelda sets up Andrew’s ex with her own ex-boyfriend so that her attention is distracted.

However, Zelda is herself quite distracted as she decides on a big career change. It’s all very stressful on this final episode, but will everything come together in the end?

And that’s what you can expect from “A to Z” Season 1 Episode 13 “M s for Meant to Be,” which will air on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at 9:30 p.m. on NBC. Movie News Guide (MNG) will bring the recap of the final episode of this series afterwards.
