The “Dance Moms” coach Abby Lee Miller is facing bankruptcy fraud charges along with $5 million fine, but this has not stopped her on continuing with the dance reality show “Dance Moms” Season 6. According to Realty Today, the 49-year-old choreographer was spotted shooting for the season 6 on the weekend. Miller and her team performed at New York Dance Experience in California over the weekend. Her junior team got the second position in the second episode.
Also, the Kendall Vertes solo act was also not a stage breaker and hence she was placed third in the junior category. Mackenzie Ziegler got the fourth position with her trademark acrobatic jazz. Despite being not performing very well in Episode 2, Miller praised her team and stated that she is very proud of her team and every single member. Nia Frazier in the teen group got second place on performing a jazz solo.
Miller is about to face her arraignment in Pittsburgh on Nov. 5, 2015. She is accused of charges on bankruptcy fraud, concealment of bankruptcy assets and false bankruptcy declarations.
Scott Smith of FBI Pittsburgh division stated that the bankruptcy fraud proceedings are taken very seriously however for honest individuals this can be a life saver.
“Dance Moms” choreographer Abby Lee Miller filed for bankruptcy in 2010 and has an unsettled amount of more than $400,000 in taxes. Miller, if found guilty in the bankruptcy fraud will have to face 5 years imprisonment charges.
