ABC has just ordered a pilot for a new political thriller — “Flesh and Blood.” The title itself is interesting already but check out the details below because things will just get even more interesting.
The drama is from Jenna Bans of “Scandal,” and its story will revolve around the return of the son of a local politician who was actually thought dead because of his disappearance for a decade already. When he returned, he was welcomed with open arms, yet he remains mysterious. The suspect was released, and the police who was in charge of the case was asked to revisit the case to see what really happened 10 years ago.
Bans is known to work alongside Shonda Rhimes, and she will also write the script and executive produce the upcoming pilot for “Flesh and Blood.”
She will be joined by David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks.
With a new story about to unfold later this year, or maybe early next year, ABC is definitely making up an epic lineup. Moreover, Bans behind the show would be something that we should all look forward to. Our interest has peaked already when we read about a man being alive after 10 years who was presumed dead. We wonder what’s the twist here.
Other details about the show are still being kept under wraps. The show is in its early stages so far, and that’s a start. We think another epic TV series is in the making.
