Brace yourselves for a romance-filled summer as ABC’s newest dating series “Bachelor in Paradise” heads to Mexico for a one-of-a-kind, sizzling summer. It premieres on Monday, August 4, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. on ABC. Read on to learn more about the “Bachelor in Paradise,” including a preview and a partial list of contestants.

Entertainment Weekly (EW) reported that “Bachelor in Paradise” is created by Mike Fleiss and Warner Horizon TV. It is the third spin-off for the hit reality franchise, “The Bachelor.”

Moreover, longtime “The Bachelor” host Chris Harrison will return to oversee the upcoming competition. Harrison hosted all episodes of “The Bachelor” (18 seasons), “The Bachelorette” (10 seasons) and “The Bachelor Pad” (3 seasons).

The show’s official synopsis was posted on ABC. “Bachelor in Paradise” will mark the return of the fan favorites and villains from “The Bachelor.” Contestants will head to the tropics to find love in six weeks for the second time around. Can they find love this time? Who would return home with another broken heart?

It was also said that the newest “Bachelor” spin-off will feature “new twists, shocking surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in Bachelor history.”

TV Line just recently posted the partial list of the former “Bachelor” contestants who are set to join the network’s latest shot at the  new “Bachelor” spin-off.


Several girls from “The Bachelor” Season 18 will return, but not to take vengeance on former football pro Juan Pablo Galavis. These girls are more determined than ever to have another chance to find their soul mates.

Hairstylist Clare Crawley (32) was a finalist in Season 18, along with “The Bachelor” grandwinner Nikki Ferrell. Unfortunately, she was eliminated in Episode 18.

Lacy Faddoul (25)  hails from Antelope Acres, California. She was eliminated with eight other contestants in Episode 1.

Elise Mosca (27) survived three grueling episodes before she was eliminated, together with Lauren Solomon, in Episode 4. She previously worked as a first grade teacher in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania.

There will be three more contestants from its previous season, featuring former footballer Sean Lowe as the 17th “Bachelor.”

AshLee Frazier (24) works as a personal organizer before she was eliminated in Episode 9. On the other hand, casting associate Daniella McBride (24) and advertising executive Sarah Herron (26 ) were both eliminated in Episode 6.

The lone contestant coming from “Bachelor Pad” is Michelle Kujawa (26) from Anaheim, CA. She was eliminated in the first episode from the spin-off which featured Jake Pavelka as “The Bachelor.”


Entrepreneurs Ben Scott (28) and Robert Graham (30) got their hearts broken by Desiree Hartsock in “The Bachelorette” Season 9.

They will be joined by Graham Bunn (29) from “The Bachelorette” Season 4. He was eliminated by DeAnna Pappas.

Moreover,  Reality Steve reported that  “Bachelor in Paradise” would include 10 females and 10 males from the roster of memorable “Bachelor” contestants.
