ABC’s “Selfie” has just been cancelled after six episodes.“Selfie” debuted in September, and it stars Karen Gillian and John Cho. The show is based on George Bernady Shaw’s "Pygmalion." Cho is left to the task to change Gillian’s character as a selfie-obsessed, social media junkie and self-centered woman.

When the news of the show's cancellation broke, “Selfie” fans started bombarding Twitter with hashtags like #bringbackSelfie.

The fate of the remaining episodes for Season 1 still remains unclear. Details whether they will still be aired or finish this season are still being kept under wraps. “Selfie” has gained positive reviews during its run, and in fact, The New Republic’s Esther Breger just wrote on Tuesday, “’Selfie’ has quietly turned into one of the funniest, most delightful sitcoms on TV.”

Aside from "Selfie," the following shows have also been canceled: “Manhattan Love Story,” "Bad Judge," "A to Z" and “Utopia.” These shows were canceled, but who knows, these shows might be revived. It’s nice to see Eliza again and watch her transform into a different woman.
